SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Runnin' Bulldogs will meet for the 37th time in program history on Wednesday night with Radford owning a 20-16 edge in the series history. The Runnin' Bulldogs have won six of the last seven meetings, but last season the two squads split their meetings with each winning on the opponent's home court. In 23 total meetings, head coach Mike McGuire owns a 13-10 record against Gardner-Webb.

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' BULLDOGS
Gardner-Webb enters Wednesday's meeting coming off a big victory over High Point last Saturday, their second conference win and fifth overall this season. Senior guard Ashley Hawkins is the name to watch on the opponent's side, as the Big South preseason player of the year has been as-advertised this season with a conference-best 18.0 ppg.

WILLIAMS STAYS HOT
Williams helped lead Radford to its first Big South victory of the season over USC Upstate with her 21 points, the sophomore's first 20-point performance against Big South. Williams hit four three pointers, three in the first half, to push her season total to 27 which ranks top 10 in the Big South. Williams has scored in double figures in each of Radford's first three Big South games.

STRIKING FROM DEEP
The Highlanders currently lead the Big South in three-point percentage by over a point at 32.7% on 324 attempts this season. Radford's 6.6 three pointers per game also ranks in the top three among Big South teams. Williams, Makayla Firebaugh and Cate Carlson have led the shooting from deep with each over 20 makes from three-point range this season.
