Women’s Basketball Visits Presbyterian in 2024 Big South Championship Rematch

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's basketball program sticks to the road Saturday afternoon for a rematch of the 2024 Big South Championship with Presbyterian.

SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Blue Hpse meet for the 39th time in program history Saturday afternoon in a rematch of the 2024 Big South Championship game. Radford owns a 27-11 edge in the series history, but Presbyterian win the final two meetings during the 2023-24 campaign. The two squads have had a habit of meeting up in the Big South Tournament over the last three seasons meeting in the quarterfinals in 2023 and the championship in 2024, splitting those two meetings.

SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Under first year head coach Tiffany Sardin, the Blue Hose have seen some success through the early half of Big South play. Presbyterian has collected a home win over USC Upstate and a road win at UNC Asheville with some close battles against Longwood and Gardner-Webb.

Kishyah Anderson and Paige Kindseth have been the offensive highlights in the season with both averaging scoring totals in double figures. Anderson has scored in double figures in four of six conference games while Kindseth has scored 10+ in three games and scored 25 in the win against UNC Asheville.

WILLIAMS' STREAK
Through six conference games, Joi Williams has been on an impressive streak of scoring in double figures in every contest. Peaking with 21 points in a win over USC Upstate, the sophomore has also scored 19 points twice including most recently at Longwood. During that streak she's also hit 15 three pointers at 36% clip while also averaging over four rebounds per game.
