SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Bulldogs meet up for another historic Big South rivalry Wednesday night marking the 89th meeting between the two programs. Radford has a 61-27 edge in the series and has won four of the last five meetings. Against the Bulldogs in 2024, Radford swept the season series 2-0 as then-freshman Joi Williams totaled 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Under first year head coach Tynesha Lewis, UNC Asheville has had some bright spots during a rebuild year. The Bulldogs have been led by senior talent Lalmani Simmons (11.1 ppg) and Abigail Wilson (10.0 ppg), one of the few double figures scoring duos in the Big South. As a team, UNC Asheville has shot well this year at 37% clip, ranking top-5 in the Big South.

BALL CONTROL AND FREE THROWS
In Radford's most recent victory against Presbyterian, the team paced to victory behind strong ball security and success at the charity stripe. The team drew a season-high 29 free throw attempts connecting 24 of them while turning the ball over 10 times. Of the Presbyterian 17 turnovers, Radford was also efficient, turning it into 21 points.

CARLSON THROUGH CONTACT
Cate Carlson scored a team-high 16 points during Saturday's win, doing so mostly through contact. Carlson became the first Highlander to be perfect from the free throw line (minimum 8 attempts) since November 2021 as she connected on all eight of her attempts. She also shot 50% on the day connecting on four of eight shot attempts.
