SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Eagles have a deep history against each other with Saturday's meeting marking the 90th meeting between the two teams. Radford owns a decisive 69-20 edge in the series, but it's been a back-and-forth affair over the last five seasons with no team winning back-to-back meetings during that span with and even 5-5 split. In three meetings last season, Radford won two of three including a Big South Quarterfinals match-up where Joi Williams and Ellie Taylor combined for 28 points to lead Radford to the semifinals.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
The Eagles boast one of the more impressive resumes halfway through the season within the Big South. Winthrop downed their first Big South opponent of the season, USC Upstate, to hold a 7-7, 1-0 record through one game of conference play. The Eagles are led in scoring by Amourie Porter (11.9 ppg) while big returner Marissa Gasaway averages a solid 9.5 ppg and 7.1 rpg to bolster the Eagles attack.

FIREBAUGH HITS 20
Against High Point, graduate Makayla Firebaugh broke out for the Highlanders with her first 20-point performance of the season. Her 21 points came from a game-high nine made shots from the floor which included a trio of three-pointers. Firebaugh currently sits in second on the team for made threes with 20, behind Joi Williams who has 21. The Highlanders as a team average over six threes a game which ranks in the top three of Big South squads.
