CJ Peterson Earns Second Big South Freshman of the Week Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced Wednesday afternoon that CJ Peterson have been named the Men's Freshman of the Week after his strong outing last weekend at the ODU/Kilmarlic Intercollegiate.

Peterson tied for 25th at the ODU/Kilmarlic Intercollegiate with a 6-over par 219 (70-71-78). He was Radford's top finisher, and has been among the Highlanders' top two scorers in each of the squad's four fall tournaments. Peterson was 1-under on the par-5 holes and finished with six birdies overall.

This is Peterson's second career weekly award and his second Freshman of the Week award for the highlanders.

Radford's Men's Golf finished up their final tournament of their fall schedule and will look to the spring season beginning February 15th at the Wexford Intercollegiate. Action runs through February 17th at the Wexford Golf Course in Hilton Head, S.C.
