A LOOK BACK
The Highlanders and Gators have met just once in the regular season, as Radford hosted Notre Dame (MD) in their inaugural season in 2023-24. Almost two years to the day since their last meeting inside the Dedmon Center, Radford was dominant in a 100-53 victory.

HOME COOKING
Returning to his home state of Texas earlier this week, Jaylon Johnson had a resurgence from three-point range. The senior tied his season high for three pointers with four, which led the team at SMU. Just his second game this season with three or more threes, Johnson was back in double figures scoring. The Houston, Texas native has seen his scoring come primarily from deep so far this season, with 42 of his 63 points coming from his three-point shooting.

FORCING TURNOVERS
The Highlanders' defense has been forcing turnovers at a much higher clip over the team's last two games. After recording seven steals against UNC Wilmington, Radford recorded a season-high 12 steals against SMU earlier this week. The 12 steals were their most in a game against a Division I opponent over the last two seasons. Leading that charge was Brennan Rigsby Jr. and Dennis Parker Jr., who each tied for a team lead in steals with three apiece.

SCOUTING THE GATORS
Notre Dame (MD) comes in to Saturday's game winners of three of their last four games, but winners of three straight against fellow Division III opponents. Led by third year head coach T.J. Jordan, the first head coach in the three-year history of the Gators' program, the team is looking to build on an incredible year last year that saw the team reach their first-ever conference championship game.

Junior forward Marlon Lewis is the player to watch for the Gators. The Cecil College transfer has made an immediate impact averaging 17.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg through seven games. He's dropped 20+ points in three of his last four games, including 28 points against King (Pa) and most recently 20 points at UMBC.
