A LOOK BACK
The Highlanders and Red Flash will meet for the second time in program history as Saint Francis makes the return trip to Radford from 2024's meeting that ended in a 79-70 victory for Radford. The Highlanders held a commanding 44-31 lead at the half and had to battle to hold in the eventual tighter finish.

IMPORVEMENT AT THE LINE
Over Radford's last three games against Division I opponents, the Highlanders have improved greatly at the free throw line after a slow start to the season. Radford shot 79% against UNC Wilmington, 83% at SMU and most recently 78% against Southern Miss with 67 attempts from the charity stripe to help pace the offense along. Mari Jordan, Lukas Walls, Frederik Erichsen and Jaylon Johnson have all been Radford's most efficient shooters with each over 80% on the season.

JOHNSON FINDING GROOVE
Over his last three games, Jaylon Johnson has found his groove with the Highlanders averaging 14 ppg. That scoring mark has largely come from three-point range as he's also led the team with 13 three pointers over that stretch. Back in the starting five as well, he's facilitated the offense with 12 assists and eight steals as well.

SCOUTING THE RED FLASH
Saint Francis is looking to get back on track and earn their first Division I win of the season on Sunday with a 2-7 record. The going has been tough away from home, but the team has battled tough foes such as Oklahoma, TCU and Xavier.

Redshirt senior guard Skylar Wicks is the name to watch for the Red Flash after transferring into the program from UTSA last season. His 19.0 ppg is best on the team and he's scored 15 or more points in every game this season. Guards Zion Russell (11.8 ppg) and Paris Papadatos (10.5 ppg) are also averaging double figures scoring this season with Saint Francis.
