BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's track & field program concluded its stay at the 2025 Virginia Tech Challenge inside Rector Field House on Saturday.
Despite having a shortened day of competition with only a few student-athletes entered on the final day of the meet, the top times continued to roll in for the Highlanders as the squad added three more personal bests
to go with Friday's standout opening.
Radford will now turn its full attention to the 2025 Big South Indoor Championship, set for February 28 through March 1 inside the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex in Columbia, South Carolina.
The Highlanders enter the final competition of the season with 23 marks inside the top 10 of the conference standings. Radford finished third at the Big South Indoor Championship a year ago, its best finish since 2015.

- The Highlanders went a perfect three-for-three in personal best performances in the 200-meter final as
Jeylah Hamrick (eighth, 24.95),
Raichelle Cornelius (ninth, 25.02) and
Danae Niles (tenth, 25.08) all dropped personal records in the event. With the strong showing, Hamrick is now ranked fourth in the Big South, Cornelius is fifth and Niles is slotted in at sixth.

Makayla Nelson claimed a podium spot with a second-place finish in the high jump final.
