The Radford women's track & field program continued its historic 2025 campaign with another standout showing to open the 2025 VertKlasse Meeting inside Vert Stadium on Friday.

Danae Niles went off with two personal record performances. She got her day started with a 12.07 in the 100-meter dash, a time that not only set a new personal best but also now ranks as the sixth-best performance in the event in school history. She followed it up with another personal record, this time in the 200-meter dash, with a 24.34 showing.
- Just two heats after Niles blazed the track,
Makayla Nelson joined her with one of the best performances in the 100-meter dash in program history. She lowered her PR by .03 seconds to continue her climb up the all-time best list with a time of 12.09.
- Nelson also set a new personal record and is now No. 8 all-time in the long jump with a best leap of 5.56-meters (18'-3").

Mattie Flores set a five-second personal best in the 400-meter race as she crossed the line in 59.14.

Jaslyne Robinson posted a season best time of 14.62 in the 100-meter hurdles.
NEXT UP
The Highlanders will get right back to it with the final day of the VertKlasse Meeting on Saturday, April 5. Field events get the day started at 10 AM ET, while the track portion of the schedule will get underway at 11:30 AM. Fans and supporters can
