A LOOK BACK
Since the Blue Hose joined the Big South in 2007-08, the Highlanders have matched up with them 35 times and own a decisive 24-11 edge in the series history. The battle has been a back-and-forth affair over the last few seasons, with the two squads trading wins dating back to the 2023-24 campaign. From the 2016-17 season to the 2020-21 season, Radford won nine straight games against Presbyterian to build their series lead. Since that winning streak was snapped, though, Radford's edge in the series is just 5-4.

SAME OLD SAME OLD
In Radford's first Big South game last week, it was business as usual for the conference's leading scorer Dennis Parker Jr. who led the game's scoring once again with 24 points. Guiding Radford's offensive and defensive efforts in the win, Parker Jr. also tallied seven boards and a pair of steals to go with his 8-for-14 shooting showing. It marked his fourth time in the last five games and sixth time overall this season scoring 20+ points.

DECEMBER BOUNCE BACK
With the calendar now flipped to 2026, Radford can look back at a strong December to close out the nonconference schedule and begin Big South Play. The Highlanders entered December with a 3-6 record and charged back to even thanks to a 5-2 record in the month with key wins over VMI, Saint Francis, Coppin State and USC Upstate. The win at USC Upstate also marked Radford's first victory away from the Dedmon Center this season, snapping a six-game losing skid. At home, Radford will look to stay hot with an impressive 7-2 mark.

SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
After collecting notable victories in the nonconference slate against ETSU, Georgia State, The Citadel and Morehead State, the Blue Hose enter Wednesday's meeting fresh off a win in their Big South opener. Like Radford, Presbyterian came out victorious over USC Upstate 86-77.

Presbyterian boasts the league's best defense, holding opponents this season to just 68.9 ppg. The offense has struggled at points, however, averaging just 70.4 ppg which ranks last in conference. Redshirt senior Jonah Pierce leads Presbyterian's efforts on all ends in his third season with the team with 15.4 ppg and 9.1 rpg. The rebounds per game ranks tied for the most among all conference players.
