A LOOK BACK
Radford and Charleston Southern meet up again after the Highlanders took a strong 84-75 victory in the Bucc Dome a couple weeks ago. In the game, Radford was led by Del Jones' 27 points which included a perfect 10-for-10 mark from the free throw line. Radford took advantage of whistle-filled contest, scoring 26 points off free throws. Radford's defense caused havoc with 10 steals led by Lukas Walls and Dennis Parker Jr. who each tallied three. In the series history, Radford owns a 49-27 advantage.

PARKER JR. SURGING
After starting conference play with three straight games with 20+ points, Parker Jr. was still a consistent scoring threat for the Highlanders but had gone six games without 20 points leading into last week. Parker Jr. has started to surge on the offensive end again, though, scoring 20+ in Radford's two games against conference leaders Winthrop and High Point. Part of that resurgence came from deep as Parker Jr. has hit a trio of threes in each of the last two games. Overall this season, Parker Jr. ranks second on the team with 53 three pointers.

FROM THE GET-GO
Facing an electric Buccaneers offense on Saturday, the Highlanders will look to get off to a good start to survive a potential high shooting affair on both ends. In Radford's 13 victories this season, 12 have come when the team is either leading or tied at the halftime break with the lone trailing at halftime victory coming in overtime. In Charleston Southern's last ten games, they've been outscored in the opening half seven times and own a 2-8 record in those games.

SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
It's been a rough going for the Buccaneers since winning their first two conference contests, falling in eight straight games before most recently breaking that streak with a win over Presbyterian earlier this week. It's been thin margins for one of the conference's best offenses, though, as the team has dropped games that came down to two possessions or overtime six times during the losing skid.

With plenty of time to right the ship, the Buccaneers will continue to lean on their high octane three-point shooting led by Brycen Blaine, Jesse Hafemeister, and A'lahn Sumler who all have over 40 threes this season. Sumler (25.9 ppg in-conference) and Blaine (16.1 ppg in-conference) are major scoring threats overall. Turnovers have been a stickler all season as well with teams winning the turnover battle by an average +5 margin.
