Men’s Golf Competes at the Wexford Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Radford Men's Golf program finished play at the Wexford Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon, led by CJ Peterson and Louie Stott, as the team placed 14th overall.

Peterson continues to lead the Highlanders, placing tied for 29th place. Peterson's Monday performance is where he separated himself from the group, shooting two-under with five birdies in his first round. Peterson would end play shooting eight birdies to lead the team at eight-over par for the tournament.

Stott's last two rounds would lead the Highlanders, shooting three over in the second round and tying Peterson for the best round by the Highlanders, going two under. Stott would lead the team with nine birdies, including an impressive third round, shooting six birdies. This would improve Stott from tied 60th up to his final place of tied 34th.

Behind Peterson and Stott were Kieran McCarthy and Tate Corbett, with McCarthy finishing tied for 60th after a two-birdie performance on day one. Corbett finished tied 74th after a strong round to close the Intercollegiate.

Rounding out the Highlanders' scoring performances was Benson Blevins, who had the third-most birdies on the team with seven. Blevins would finish tied 74th to round out play for the Highlanders.
