A LOOK BACK
The Big South season has almost come and gone since Radford and USC Upstate last met to begin the conference slate on December 31st, 2025. In Spartanburg, Radford used a big offensive effort behind 24 points from Parker Jr. in a 76-69 win. In a game that featured eight lead changes, Radford was able to put things away for good over the final 10 minutes thanks to free throw opportunities and big buckets from Jones, Johnson and Parker Jr. Radford owns a 12-2 lead in the series history and has won the last four straight.

CAPPING ANOTHER INCREDIBLE YEAR IN DEDMON
Thursday marks Radford's last game inside the Dedmon Center this season which has featured the program's second straight year and third of the last four years winning 10 or more games at home. Against Big South foes, Radford has posted a 5-3 record, going 6-2 during the nonconference slate. The Highlanders are outscoring their opponents by a +11 margin at home this season and outshooting them 50% to 45%. Dennis Parker Jr. has averaged 19.8 ppg in the friendly confines of the Dedmon Center with Del Jones (16.4 ppg) and Jaylon Johnson (11.1 ppg) also in double figures averages.

ATOP THE LEADERBOARDS
Headed into the final week of their regular season, Radford has fully established themselves as one of the best scoring offenses in the nation. The Highlanders rank top 75 for scoring offense, free throws per game, three pointers per game, and turnovers forced per game. The Highlanders offense has caused havoc for their opponents forcing over 13 per game which ranks third best in the Big South. Radford has been winning the turnover battle often and especially during Big South play with a +1.17 margin which also ranks third in the conference.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
After a rough stretch throughout conference play, USC Upstate is playing better basketball as of late and is tougher than their 4-10 record in conference play indicates. The Spartans coming off a big victory over Presbyterian 76-74 with tight losses on the road to Longwood and Winthrop. In the month of February, the team also collected a 100-94 overtime win against Charleston Southern.

USC Upstate is a top three rebounding team in the conference at their own end but is conceding 37.6 rebounds per game to opponents which ranks seventh in the conference. Karmani Gregory is the name to watch for the Highlanders, averaging over 16 points per game against conference foes this season. Mason Bendinger (14.4 ppg in conference) and Carmelo Adkins (14.3 ppg in conference) are also major scoring threats for the Spartans.
