A LOOK BACK
Radford and High Point met just a couple weeks ago in what wound up being an intense battle in the Dedmon Center. With the Highlanders on short rest, the team burst ahead for a six-point lead in the first half with 48 points. The Panthers clawed back and ultimately used a dominant second half to take the decision 93-83. Del Jones scored a team-high 23 points with four other Highlanders in double figures. The Panthers' Terry Anderson scored 31 points, a season high for a Radford opponent in 2025-26. Radford owns a slim 31-30 lead in the series history and is looking to snap an eight-game winning streak by High Point.

JOHNSON NEARING 100
After scoring six assists in the Highlanders' last time out against Winthrop, Jaylon Johnson continues to pile on to his team lead in assists with 92. Should he record eight more assists before the season's end, it would mark the senior's third straight season with 100+ assists on the season. Among Big South players, only two other student-athletes currently have 90+ assists this season. Johnson is the only Big South player with 90+ assists and 50+ steals.

THE TURNOVER BATTLE
Two of the better teams in conference play at limiting the turnover meet on Saturday night. High Point leads the conference by a wide margin, turning the ball over just 8.9 times per game. On the road, Radford will look to combat that with their 12.3 turnovers per game which ranks third best in the Big South. When the two teams met earlier this season it wasn't the case as the Panthers won the turnover battle by a wide margin 18-7 converting those miscues into 19 points in the eventual 10-point loss.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Since the two teams met three games ago, the Panthers have kept chugging along extending their win streak to five games to stick to a tie with Winthrop for the top spot in the conference standings. High Point's only loss this season in Big South was on the road to Winthrop, who they won't play again until the penultimate game of the regular season.

Leading scorer Cam'ron Fletcher briefly returned to action for the first time in a month against Presbyterian a week ago, but has not appeared since in games against Longwood and Charleston Southern. High Point will continue to look to Anderson who has averaged 18.9 ppg in conference play this season with five other players averaging over seven points per game against Big South foes.
