Highlanders Continue Competing on Day Two of the Big South Championship

FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Radford Men's Golf program fell back on day two of the tournament dropping two places to end the day tied for seventh.

Kieran McCarthy was the front runner for the Highlanders today shooting even to finish tied for 20^th place. McCarthy had a strong start recording birdies on hole 10, 1, 5, and 9 respectively. However, McCarthy found trouble on hole two shooting three-over to put his total at even to end his day.

Will Giaquinto would also find success for the Highlanders ending the day even and tied for 24^th place overall. Giaquinto's had a good showing in the front nine with a birdie on hole 6 and a bogie on hole 8. Giaquinto started out slow in the back nine with two early bogies, however, he came back with an eagle on the last hole.

Louie Stott and Tate Corbett were the next two Highlanders with Stott shooting two-over and Corbett shooting four-over. Both Highlanders found similar success as Giaquinto with them both having a birdie on the 18^th hole.
