• Redshirted last season.
• Placed 27th in the open division of the hammer throw at USTAF National Championships.
2007-08 HIGHLIGHTS
INDOOR
• NCAA Provisional qualifier and USATF qualifier in the weight throw. • Reached All-Big South status with a weight throw performance of 64’10.5” and a second place finish at the conference indoor championships.
• Posted weight throw first-place finishes in two indoor meets, including a toss of 64’2.25” at the Virginia Tech Challenge.
• Also topped the field at the North Carolina Invitational, hitting a distance of 61’0” in the weight throw competition.
• Competed in the shot put at the Big South Championships, finishing seventh with a toss of 47’1”.
OUTDOOR
• Competed in the hammer throw, discus and shot put during the outdoor season.
• NCAA Outdoor All-America in the hammer throw event.
• Became Radford’s fourth track and field All-American after finishing 11th in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
• Reached a distance of 207’4” in the event finals.
• Advanced to the national meet after winning the NCAA East Regional Championship in Tallahassee, Fla.
• Tossed a personal-best 217’8” at the East Regional, after entering the championships with a No. 20 national ranking.
• Topped the hammer throw field in five meets during the season, including the East Regional.
• Posted his second-best distance of the season (212’2”) and a first place
finish at the Nike UNC Elite Meet.
• Paced the field at the Wake Forest Open (201’2”), the Lou Onesty Invitational (198’0”) and the Winthrop Invitational (208’7”).
• All-Big South performer with a second-place showing at the conference championships (202’0”)
• Also posted a sixth-place finish in the discus (145’2”) and a ninth-place showing in the shot put (45’5.75”) at the Big South Championship.
• Had a season best performance in the discus throw (153’11”) at the Wake Forest Open.
2006-07 Highlights
OUTDOOR
• Competed in the hammer throw, shot put and discus during the outdoor season.
• Earned a spot at the NCAA East Regional Championships with a hammer throw toss of 201’ 8” and a first place finish at the Georgia Tech Invitational
• Finished 18th at the regional championships in Gainesville, Fla. with a throw of 184’1”.
• All-Big South hammer throw performer, posting a third place finish and a toss of 198’ 10” at the conference outdoor championships.
• Had a season-best hammer performance at the Wake Forest Open with a
throw of 199’8” and a third place finish.
• Finished 11th at the Penn Relays, hitting a distance of 192’ 9”.
• Posted a new school record in the discus, with a throw of 162’7” at the CCU Invitational.
• Season-best showing of 45’7.25” in the shot put at the Radford Early Bird Invitational.
2005-06 Highlights
INDOOR
• Finished fifth in the weight throw at the Liberty Record Bash.
• Was fourth in the weight throw at the Big South Indoor Championships.
OUTDOOR
• Took third in the discus at the 49er Classic at Charlotte
• Placed fourth in the discus at the Aggie Relays
• Took second in the discus at the Radford 5-Way Challenge
• Finished fifth in the hammer throw at the Big South Outdoor Championships.
