2009 Highlights
Late-innings “set-up man” for the Highlanders ... Closed out the first game against Canisius March 7 with four scoreless innings, and worked  5 1/3 total with a career-high four strikeouts to earn his first win ... Earned the win in the series finale against Winthrop March 29, limiting an eighth-inning rally by the Eagles ... Struck out three over 3 1/3 innings during Radford’s win over VMI April 18 ... Worked 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win in the come-from-behind victory over Coastal Carolina May 21 in the Big South tournament; also played first base in the ninth inning against the Chanticleers

Second Team All-Alabama Community College Conference pick as a sophomore ... Part of a record-setting season at Northwest-Shoals, where the Patriots set new marks for wins (44), Northern Division victories (26), and strikeouts ... Went 9-1 with a 3.99 ERA and struck out 61 in 56 1/3 innings over 21 appearances
