Tied for second in the Big South with 15 starts, finished sixth in innings pitched (90) in his first season as a Division I starter ... One of the “stars” of Radford’s viral video in May, “College Baseball Rain Delay Jousting” ... Worked five innings in his first Radford start against Army (Feb. 19) ... struck out five, allowing just a run on three hits ... Was effective in a loss to Auburn (Feb. 26), working seven innings and allowing three runs on eight hits ... struck out four with no walks ... Posted his second seven-inning start in a row against Fordham (March 5) ...  a no-decision, a quality start in which he struck out four ... Turned in a career performance in his first win of the season in the second game with Cornell (March 19) ... retired the first 20 batters of the game, bringing a perfect game bid into the seventh inning ... his 8 1/3 innings were a career-high ... Struck out seven in seven innings in a no-decision in the second game of the Presbyterian series (April 2) ... Earned his second win of the season in a six-inning effort in the second series game against VMI (April 10) ... Allowed two earned runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings for his third win in the second game against Winthrop (April 17) ... Posted his fifth quality start in his last six in the second game of the UNC Asheville series (April 23) ... Allowed just one earned run in six innings in his sixth quality start in the second game of the High Point series, but was the loser (May 14) ... Put up his first scoreless start, but didn’t factor in the decision at Liberty (May 20)

2010 Highlights (Pitt C.C.)
Helped Pitt to the NJCAA World Series ... The Bulldogs went 42-10 on the way to a Region X title ... Posted a 6-1 record with a 3.47 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 58 innings

2009 Highlights (UNC Greensboro)
Worked 3 1/3 innings over four relief appearances for the Spartans

Posted a 6-2 record as a senior at Sanderson High School with a 2.40 ERA and 85 strikeouts ... Also hit .450 as a senior ... 4A All-State selection as a senior
