Tied for second in the Big South with 15 starts, finished sixth in innings pitched (90) in his first season as a Division I starter ... One of the “stars” of Radford’s viral video in May, “College Baseball Rain Delay Jousting” ... Worked five innings in his first Radford start against Army (Feb. 19) ... struck out five, allowing just a run on three hits ... Was effective in a loss to Auburn (Feb. 26), working seven innings and allowing three runs on eight hits ... struck out four with no walks ... Posted his second seven-inning start in a row against Fordham (March 5) ... a no-decision, a quality start in which he struck out four ... Turned in a career performance in his first win of the season in the second game with Cornell (March 19) ... retired the first 20 batters of the game, bringing a perfect game bid into the seventh inning ... his 8 1/3 innings were a career-high ... Struck out seven in seven innings in a no-decision in the second game of the Presbyterian series (April 2) ...
