Played in 15 games as a pinch hitter / position player and made five relief appearances as a pitcher … Did not allow a run in any of his five relief outings … Had a pinch-hit at-bat in the eighth inning, and struck out the side in the top of the ninth in the series-opening win over UNC Asheville (March 23) … Picked up his first collegiate hit on an eighth-inning RBI single in a Big South win over Winthrop (April 21) … drove in his first run earlier in the game on a sacrifice fly in a pinch hit appearance … Started in RF in three straight games in May (6-8), hitting sixth in the order … Knocked in a run to tie the game early in a 10-4 series finale win over Gardner-Webb (May 6)
