Biography

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2020)
Was named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List ... Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 17) ... Made eight appearances out of the bullpen … Finished the season with a 0-1 record, four saves and a 2.16 ERA ... Only allowed three hits all year, limiting opponents to a .115 batting average in 8.1 innings ... Led the Big South with four saves, a mark that ranked 17th in Division I ... Scoreless outings in seven of his eight appearances ... Finished the season with nine strikeouts in 8.1 innings, including at least one in seven of his eight appearances ... Did not allow a hit in his final five appearances ... Notched saves in consecutive appearances at N.C. Central to close out a series sweep (Feb. 15-16) ... Also recorded saves against Georgia Southern (Feb. 29) and George Mason (Mar. 10).

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019)
Second Team All-Big South selection in 2019 … Used as a multi-inning relief pitcher, with 15 of his appearances lasting longer than three outs ... Made 18 appearances out of the bullpen, finishing with a 4-1 record and a 2.89 ERA … All four of his wins came in conference play, where he boasted a team-best 0.62 ERA across 29.0 innings … Limited opponents to a .226 average while amassing 35 strikeouts in 43.2 innings … Notched scoreless appearances in 10 of his 18 outings ... Had a WHIP of 1.20 while holding opponents to a .226 batting average, numbers which lowered to 0.79 and .146 in conference play, respectively ... Allowed just one home run during the season ... Set a season-high with 6.0 scoreless innings to earn a win over USC Upstate (Apr. 6) ... Notched his only save of the season with three no-hit innings against Campbell (Apr. 12) ... Had three or more strikeouts on six occasions, including a season-best five against High Point (May 17).
