2011 Highlights
Was in the midst of a breakout offensive season before a season-ending injury in April ... Led the Big South in batting average through March 6 ... Went 5-for-9 to open the 2011 season ... Hit a sixth inning two-run double to provide the go-ahead runs in a win over Army (Feb. 19) ... Went 3-for-4, walked twice and scored twice in the game one win over Auburn (Feb. 25) ... Was 2-for-3 in the second game ... Finished the Auburn series 6-for-10 ... Perfect at the plate in the win over Towson (March 4) ... went 2-for-2, scored three times and walked three times ... hit a three-run homer, his first of the season, in the fifth inning to give Radford breathing room in the win ... Carried a nine-game hitting streak (14-for-30) from the first game of the Auburn series (Feb. 25) through the finale of the NC State series (March 9) ... Went 2-for-3 and had a run-scoring double and single in the series opener against Cornell (March 19) ... Picked up three hits in the CSU series to extend his hitting streak to a team-best 10 games (March 25-26) ... Knocked in seven runs during the VMI series (April 8-10), including three in the first and third games ... hit his second homer of the season to lead off the eighth in the first game ... Hit his third homer of the season and second in four games in the ninth inning against Virginia Tech (April 13) ... Had a seventh-inning sac fly as part of a three-run frame in the opener against Winthrop (April 15) ...
