Started all 16 games... Led team with 35 goals, 39 points, 83 shots, 63 shots on goal, 7 free position shots on goal, 13 free position shots, 30 ground balls controlled (tied), 14 caused turnovers, and 74 draw controls... Nominated for inaugural Allstate NACDA Good Works Team, which celebrates a student-athlete's leadership beyond sports... Named Big South Honorable Mention after the season... Named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll and earned the Commissioner Award for a perfect 4.0 GPA for the 2024-25 school year.

AS A FRESHMAN
Started all 17 games for the Highlanders... Scored 21 goals over the course of the season and tallied three hat tricks... Picked up 33 ground balls and recorded 51 draw controls... Netted a season-high four goals against Delaware State.
PREP
Attended McNeil High School in Austin, Texas. Under the leadership of head coach Jenni Darlow, she helped the lead the Mavericks to the 6A playoffs each year of her career. She helped the Mavericks post an 8-2 record her senior season, as she earned all-state honors and was named a USA Lacrosse All-American... Also was a four-year varsity letter-winner in Cross Country and Track and Field... Played club with Texas Playhard Outlaws
A decorated high school athlete, Cheney was a seven-time MVP at her high school: twice with the track team, twice with the lacrosse team and three times with the cross country team. She was also tabbed as an Under Armour All-American in 2021. She excelled in her studies, gaining induction into the National Honor Society as well as her school’s science honor society, math honor society and Spanish honor society.

Daughter of John Cheney and Carrie Irby…has an older sister, Claire... Grandfather, Raymond Forsthoffer, was the captain of the Northwestern University Wildcats football team in 1969... Favorite vacation spot is anywhere by the beach... Wants to someday be on the reality show Survivor.
