HIGHLANDER HITS
- Riding a school record eight-game road winning streak, Radford can clinch the 2008-09 Big South regular season title with a victory Saturday afternoon at VMI. The televised (MASN) contest is scheduled to tip at 4 p.m.
- The Highlanders enter 16-10 overall and 13-2 in the league following a 70-61 win at Charleston Southern Monday evening.
- To go along with the second longest road spurt in the nation (UConn - 9), the Highlanders have won seven straight and 12 of their last 13.
- Radford's eight consecutive wins away from home is a Big South record.
- Radford is attempting to become the first team in league history to win the regular season title after finishing seventh the previous season.

Art Parakhouski (Minsk, Belarus), who currently ranks 10th nationally in rebounds per game (10.9), upped his team-best scoring average to 15.3 per contest thanks to his 29-point effort Monday at CSU. The 6-11 junior is on pace to become just the fourth player in Radford history to average a double-double.
- VMI, which has dropped its last two, comes in 20-6 overall and 11-4 in the league after a 63-57 setback at Presbyterian Monday.
- Chavis and Travis Holmes lead the Keydets offensively with scoring averages of 21.9 and 19.6 points per game, respectively.
- Radford will return to the Dedmon Center for its final homestand of the regular season beginning with a 7 p.m. contest Wednesday evening against High Point.
SERIES HISTORY
- Saturday afternoon's meeting is the 29th all-time with Radford holding a 15-13 advantage.
- Radford is 9-3 at home and 6-10 on the road against the Keydets.
- In their last meeting, despite a 55.6 percent shooting effort from Radford, VMI knocked down 13 buckets from long range to earn an 87-72 victory in a first-place battle and the re-opening of the Dedmon Center on Jan. 21 in front 3,066 fans.
- VMI used 10 of its 13 threes to take control of the game in the opening 20 minutes, including four long balls in the game's first eight minutes to erase a 13-0 deficit.

LAST TIME OUT
- Art Parakhouski scored 20 of his season-high 29 points in the second half to lead Radford to a school record eighth straight road win, 80-71 over Charleston Southern Monday at CSU Fieldhouse.
- Parakhouski, who was one of three Radford players in double figures, missed just two of his 11 attempts from the field and finished 11-of-16 from the charity stripe en route to his fourth 20-point effort of the year.
Joey Lynch-Flohr and
Amir Johnson contributed 16 points each for the Highlanders. Johnson, who went the distance also made all six of his free throws and handed out six assists.
- Charleston Southern began the second half on a 9-3 run, with all nine points coming from Omar Carter, including a pair of threes to cut the deficit to 45-38. Highlighted by a pair of three-point plays and seven free throws, Parakhouski scored the next 13 points for RU to stretch the margin back to double digits.
- Jamarco Warren's trey with 2:07 remaining made it a six-point contest, 72-66, but that's as close as the Buccaneers would get the rest of the way as Radford drilled all eight of its attempts from the charity stripe down the stretch.
