Hope Creasy (Christiansburg, Va./Christiansburg) and senior
Jenn Everhart (Purcellville, Va./Loudoun Valley) went a combined 8-for-10 with eight RBI as Radford swept a pair of games on day two of the GSU Eagle Classic.

The Highlanders (3-1) defeated Oakland, 5-2 and followed that with a 9-1 five-inning win over the host Eagles.
Creasy was 5-for-6 with a double, triple and five RBI. Everhart was 3-for-4 with two double, three RBI and three runs scored. She also walked three times and recorded two stolen bases. Freshman
Michele Beall (Culpeper Country/Culpeper) also registered three hits (3-4) with a triple, RBI and two free passes.
Radford scored four runs in the first three innings and defeated Oakland, 5-2 in its first game of the day. Everhart, Creasy and sophomore
Shannon Keefe (Lemont Township, Ill./Lemont) each recorded two hits. Creasy also knocked in a pair of runs.
Sophomore
Kellie Snooks (Alsip, Ill./Marist) earned the first complete game victory of her career. She allowed two runs on six hits, striking out four and walking three.
Radford struck for single runs in the first and second inning. Creasy put Radford put Radford on the board with a two-out RBI single.
In the second, Michele Beall stroked a run-scoring triple, knocking in fellow classmate
Meredith Moore (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring). It was Beall's first collegiate hit.
The Highlanders tacked on two more in the third to make it 4-0. Everhart led off with a double and stole third with one out and crossed the dish on Creasy's sacrifice fly. Freshman
Nichole Beall (Culpeper County, Va./Culpeper) followed with her first collegiate home run to right field.
Everhart's sac fly in the bottom of the sixth gave the Highlanders an insurance run to put them up 5-0.
Snooks (1-0) got into a little trouble after recording the first two outs in the seventh inning. A two-run double spoiled her shutout, but she settled down and induced a ground ball back to the box for the final out of the game and ending Oakland's rally.
In game two, Radford scored eight runs in the first three innings and cruised to the 9-1 victory over Georgia Southern. Sophomore
Chelsea Kelley (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring) tossed a one-hitter, striking out three to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Creasy was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. Beall and sophomore
Kristen Shifflett (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello) each had two base knocks. Shifflett crossed the plate three times and Everhart knocked in a pair of runs.
The Highlanders scored three runs in the bottom of the first and four more in the second. Creasy knocked in two runs with a double and triple. Everhart recorded a two-run double and senior
Alex Roderick (Woodbridge, Va./Hylton) provided an RBI double in the second.
Radford scored one in the third and ended the game on Creasy's RBI single in the fifth.
Radford closes out the tournament, tomorrow, Feb. 22 with a 9 a.m. game against Mercer.
