RADFORD, Va. -- Radford softball will host the fourth annual Highlander Classic presented by Comfort Inn & Suites March 20 and 21 at RU Softball Field. This year's field includes Albany, Kent State and Siena.

The two-day tournament will feature a round-robin portion in which each team will face off against each other followed by consolation and championship contests starting around 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Highlanders (9-8) are coming off sweep of Liberty in their home and Big South opener on Thursday. In game one, Radford scored eight unanswered runs for a 8-2 victory and rallied from a pair of deficits to take game two, 7-6.

On Saturday, Radford play Albany at 2 p.m. followed by Siena at 4 p.m. On Sunday, the Highlanders will take on Kent State at noon.
