Krissia Vasquez netted goals in the second half to push Radford women's soccer past Francis Marion, 2-0, at FMU Soccer Field Friday evening.
After a scoreless first, Radford (2-0-0) was awarded a penalty kick 1:33 into the second half. Conway connected on the kick to give Radford the 1-0 advantage.
Mary Wiley played a ball ahead in the 57th minute to Vasquez, who took a shot from 15 yards out, beating the keeper, giving the Highlanders a 2-0 lead and insurance goal.
Both Highlander scores were the first of Webber and Vasquez's career.
The Patriots (0-4-0) held the advantage in corner kicks 8-2 and keeper Lauren Vetock made five saves in the match.
Che' Brown made three saves and picked up her second straight win in goal for Radford.
The Highlanders will enjoy a seven-day layoff before heading to Huntington, W.Va. to participate in the Best Western Huntington Mall Invitational against Marshall on Friday, Sept. 3 and Iona Sunday, Sept. 5.
