BRISTOL, Tenn. – Junior forward Iyiola Awosika (London, England / Aylesbury Grammar) netted a goal in each half to lead Radford to a 4-1 victory over King College in preseason men's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Parks Field.

The Highlanders, who led 1-0 at the break, also got second-half strikes from Brian Gwanzura (Harare, Zimbabwe / Harare) and Anthony Payne (Manassas, Va. / Osbourn Park) to conclude their exhibition slate in impressive fashion.

Like Awosika, Payne's score in the final stanza was his third of the preseason.

Radford concluded its three-game exhibition schedule with a 1-1-1 record.

Under the direction of first-year head coach Marc Reeves, the Highlanders will open their 2010 campaign at Mt. St. Mary's Saturday, Sept. 4 in Emmitsburg, Md.
