Beginning Monday, September 13, Radford University students can sign up online to be part of the #9 RU Soccer Club. Students can also sign up everyday this week at the Hurlburt Student Center (The Bonnie) from 12 - 2 p.m.
Because of fans/students like you, Cupp Stadium will have a new energy and excitement this season, as bleachers will be directly behind the goals, beginning with Saturday's home opener with Liberty at 6 p.m. The first 99 registered fans at each game will be given the opportunity to sit in the best seats in the house. If that's not enough, you will receive a FREE exclusive RU Soccer Scarf to wear and bring to every home contest.
Dante Washington, RU Soccer's most decorated alum, led the Nation in scoring in 1988 and 1990 and currently ranks second all-time in NCAA History with 82 career goals. Following his impressive collegiate career, Washington played eight seasons in the MLS (two-time MLS All Star) and was a member of the U.S. National team, which competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics.
In order to register and receive admission as a club member on gameday, you'll need to provide your Name, RU Email and RU ID Number. You can also sign up using the online form.
There will be a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR UNRULY BEHAVIOR. We want to create a FUN, fan-friendly atmosphere where you enjoy the game and make a home-field advantage for RU Soccer. Be LOUD; Be FUNNY: and SING your heart out for RU SOCCER!!
