GAME NOTES

RADFORD, Va.
The Radford women's soccer team looks to extend its historic winning streak with a home contest against Gardner-Webb Thursday.

Radford began league play with four consecutive shutouts, a feat no Highlander team in program history has accomplished.  The 4-0 conference record is also something only two teams have achieved (1993, 1999).

Winners of eight of their last 10 matches, the Highlanders return to home where they possess a 6-1 record and have blanked the opposition five times, two wins shy of the Cupp Stadium record and has already tied the clean sheet mark.

Playing behind a stout defense that features Tyler Drake (Palmrya, Va./Fluvanna County), Sydney Golden (Lexington, Ky./Paul L. Dunbar), Megan Rhodes (Blacksburg, Va./Blacksburg) and Stephanie Herb (Fairfax, Va./Robinson Secondary), Radford has only allowed nine goals all year.

Sophomore goalkeeper Che' Brown (Manassas Park, Va./Manassas Park) ranks third in the nation in goals-against average (.163) and save percentage (0.95).  In addition to her national recognition, Brown has recorded five shutouts and a perfect 6-0 mark.

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' BULLDOGS
Gardner-Webb enters Thursday's match at 2-5-5, 0-2-2 Big South.  The Runnin' Bulldogs are coming off a scoreless draw against Liberty and a 2-2 tie against defending champion High Point.  Dawn Rollyson leads the team in goals with six and is fifth in scoring in the Big South.  In addition, goalkeeper Erika Lenns has made 65 saves.
