RADFORD, Va. – Coming off a 4-1 win over VMI, Radford will conclude its brief homestand with a 6 p.m. Homecoming contest against Big South foe High Point Saturday evening at Cupp Stadium.

The Highlanders, who are unbeaten in eight of their last nine at home, enter the 18th all-time meeting with the Panthers 6-6-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the Big South Conference.

Despite dropping both contests last season with High Point, Radford leads the series 9-6-2.

Through 12 contests, the Highlanders are just five goals away from matching last year's goal total of 30.

In their win over VMI Wednesday evening, the Highlanders got second-half goals from Luis Grande (Caracas, Venezuela / U.E. Colegio Los Arcos), Iyiola Awosika (London, England / Aylesbury Grammar) and James Jordan (Dartford, England / Dartford Grammar).

18 of Radford's 25 goals this season have come after intermission.

Awosika continues to lead the team and rank second in the Big South in goals scored (8) and total points (17), while Chel Ho Kim Park (Santander, Spain) paces the league in assists with six.

High Point enters the contest 4-6-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference following a 2-0 setback to No. 20 Coastal Carolina Wednesday.

Shawn Sloan (3G, 4A) and Karo Okiomah (4G, 2A) lead the Panthers offensively with 10 total points each.

Radford will play its next two contests on the road, beginning with a 7 p.m. contest at Winthrop Wednesday, Oct. 19.
