CLINTON, S.C. – Despite holding a commanding 23-10 advantage in shots, Radford fell to Presbyterian, 2-1, in Big South men's soccer action Saturday evening at Martin Stadium.
The loss drops the Highlanders to 7-7-0 overall and 3-3-0 in the league, while PC improves to 3-11-0 and 3-3-0 as well.

Luis Grande's (Caracas, Venezuela / U.E. Colegio Los Arcos) 81
st minute equalizer, Presbyterian's Jonny Mercado netted his second goal of the contest and game-winner with just 2:48 remaining.
Mercado's first strike came just after intermission on a shot from outside the box on an assist from Josh Carter.
Chel Ho Kim Park (Santander, Spain) led the Highlanders with five shots, while Grande added four (2 on goal) and
Iyiola Awosika (London, England / Aylesbury Grammar) finished with three.
Awosika, who assisted on Grande's fourth goal of the season, just missed on a one v. one chance early in the opening period.
In addition to outshooting Presbyterian by double digits, the Highlanders finished with a 10-2 margin in corner kicks.
Ethan Watson led both keepers with five saves, while
Dane Wilson (Cincinnati, Ohio / Princeton) recorded two stops for Radford.
The Highlanders return home Tuesday for a 6 p.m. contest with “New River Rival” Virginia Tech at Cupp Stadium.
