Iyiola Awosika's (London, England) team-leading seventh goal of the season, Radford fell to No. 23 Coastal Carolina, 4-1, in Big South men's soccer action Sunday afternoon at the CCU Soccer Field.
The loss drops the Highlanders to 5-6-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the conference, while the Chanticleers improve to 9-2-0 and 3-0-0.
In addition to his 26
th career goal, which moved him into 9
th on Radford's all-time list, Awosika's fourth penalty kick of the season gives him the most in school history.
After setting up Teejay East's first of two goals on the afternoon, Ashton Bennett, who ranks among the nation's leaders in goals, scored the eventual game-winner and his 12
th of the season in the 53
rd minute.
Just minutes after Coastal went ahead 2-0, Radford responded in the 56
th minute on Awosika's PK as a result of a handball in the box.
The Chanticleers' other strike came from Cyprian Hedrick on a header off a corner kick.
East, who scored the only goal of the opening half, put away the game's final goal on a header of his own in the 80
th minute.
Coastal Carolina finished with a 13-5 advantage in shots.

Ryan Taylor (Midlothian, Va. / Midlothian) led both keepers with five saves.
Radford returns home Wednesday evening for a 6 p.m. contest with VMI.
