NEW ORLEANS, La. – Radford women's track and field was recently tabbed Division I All-Academic, as announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
“Having our women earn this academic award is truly an honor for our program and Radford University,” commented head coach
Brent Chumbley. “It just shows how hard these women work on the track and more importantly in the classroom.”
In order to qualify for the award, the team must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better. As a group, the Highlanders tallied a 3.084 cumulative GPA. Radford represented one of 164 programs across the nation to earn this status.
