WYATT TO RUN FOR TEAM USA AT NACAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

RADFORD, Va. – Add yet another accomplishment for Radford's Vincent Wyatt. Following Sunday's performance at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif., the 110-meter hurdler earned a spot on Team USA's U23 roster for the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Championships.

The NACAC Championships will be contested Aug. 8-10 in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Thirty-one countries, including the United States, will be represented at the three-day meet. Wyatt will race for Team USA in the men's 110-meter hurdles semifinals, which are slated for Saturday, Aug. 9 at 4:30 p.m. The final will be at 5:50 p.m. later that day.

"I couldn't be more proud of Vincent," hurdles coach Mark White expressed. "He is very deserving of this opportunity. The growth and improvement I have seen from him since his freshman year is just off the charts. Having competed against the nation's best at the USATF events, Vincent knows what it takes and is ready to compete at the international level."
