WOMEN'S SOCCER HOSTS VMI TUESDAY FOR SENIOR NIGHT

Radford closes out its regular season when it hosts VMI in a crucial Big South matchup on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Highlanders (10-2-4, 6-0-4 Big South) are still in the hunt for the regular season title as they are tied with Longwood for second, just one point behind High Point for the top spot. A victory would assure Radford a home Big South first round contest on Saturday.

Prior to the contest, Radford and the women's soccer program will recognized its senior class as Megan Rhodes, Krissia Vasquez and Mary Wiley will be honored for their contributions to the soccer program the past four seasons.

A LOOK AT RU: With a pair of scoreless draws last week, Radford extended its unbeaten streak to 13, matching the school record set by the 1992 and 1993 programs... The two shutouts moved the season total to 10 and Radford now has recorded 10-plus clean sheets (32 total) in each of the last three seasons... Che' Brown brought her season total to nine shutouts with 12 saves last week which ranks her first in the league, along with GAA (0.70) and save percentage (.855)...RU has allowed one goal over the last six matches (600 min.).

A LOOK AT VMI: The Keydets (1-15, 0-10) are coming off a pair of 2-0 defeats against Liberty and Longwood last week... Courtney Mason has scored a team-best two goals... Liz Affronti has dished out two assists.

THE SERIES: The Highlanders lead the all-time series, 9-1 and have won all four meetings at Cupp Stadium, including a 2-1 double overtime triumph in 2010.

LAST YEAR: The Highlanders clinched the 2011 regular season title with a 4-0 win in Lexington… Sahar Aflaki netted two goals in the triumph.

UP NEXT: Radford will play a first round Big South contest on Saturday against an opponent and at a site to be determined.
