RADFORD PERFORMS WELL ON FINAL DAY OF FLORIDA RELAYS

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The other half of Radford's track and field team competed on the final day of the Florida Pepsi Relays and featured the Highlander relay teams and Aimee Veatch.

Veatch recorded a 50.74m / 166-06 mark in the hammer throw to take home 12th place in a competitive field.

Brett Olinger, Allen Dooms, Ronquis Posey and Joseph Betts combined to run a 41.79 in the men's 4x100m and brought home 19th place.

Later in the 4x400m, Tehquin Warrick, Olinger, Dooms and Kaise White finished 25th with a time of 3:14.45.

The women's 4x100m relay team of Amber Church, Kayla Christian, Courtni Pannell and Lakei Crews made Radford's Top-10 times with a 48.60.

Radford will compete in the Carolina's Cup on Apr. 30. The men will attempt to defend their team title from a year ago.
