TRACK & FIELD WINS 5 EVENTS AT WINTHROP TWILIGHT

ROCK HILL, S.C. –
In Radford's second to last qualifying meet of the year, five track and field athletes won their respective events in Sunday's Winthrop Twilight.
 
Freshman Vincent Wyatt posted a 14.13, the second fastest time in program history and took first collegiately for the fifth time this season.
 
Already owning all Top-10 times in program history, Big South Champion Brett Olinger clocked the ninth fastest time with a 53.16 in the 400m hurdles.  He won the event for the third time this year.
 
For the second straight meet and for the fourth time in the last five meets, Kaise White took the 400m crown with his time of 48.60.
 
In the short sprints, Allen Dooms placed seventh with a time of 10.74, while freshman Joseph Betts posted a 10.88 to take ninth.   The duo would also compete in the 200m.  Betts ran a time of 21.58 and was the top collegian and Dooms stopped the clock in 23.56.
 
Aimee Veatch was the lone member of the women's team to compete and brought home the hammer throw title.  Veatch recorded a 51.03m mark, which stood as her third title this outdoor season.
