ANOTHER HONOR FOR ULMO, VaSID ALL-STATE HONOREE

Bernardo Ulmo's trophy case continues to see additions to it as the senior striker added First-Team All-State honors announced by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID). It is the second straight season Ulmo has earned a first-team selections from the organization.

For the second straight season, Ulmo led the Highlanders in goals and earned Big South first-team honors as well. This season he scored 10 goals, and finished with 25 goals in his Radford career, good for 10th place all-time in RU men's soccer history.

Radford head coach Marc Reeves lauded his senior forward.

"Virginia has some excellent soccer programs, great coaches and tons of talented players, so for Bernardo to be selected as a first-team player is a fantastic achievement. Since his arrival, he has worked hard to develop as a player and his final two seasons saw him score some great goals and have a real impact in the majority of games. I know Bernardo would be the first to acknowledge individual accolades come from exposure gained through team success, and several of his graduating classmates should be congratulated on their major impact to the program as well."
