WEATHER ADJUSTS START TIMES FOR MARSHALL HOME SERIES, RU HOSTS HERD FOR FOUR GAMES

RADFORD, Va. - Radford and Marshall will attempt to get in a four-game baseball series beginning Friday and running through Sunday if the weather permits. The Highlanders and the Thundering Herd will begin the series at RU Baseball Stadium on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Saturday's doubleheader now begins at 1:00, and the series finale is scheduled for 1:00 on Sunday. Each day's start time has been moved up to adjust for forecasted cold and wet conditions.

The schools are meeting for the eighth time in their respective baseball histories on Friday. Marshall leads the all-time head-to-head matchups 4-3 in a series that began in 2009, however, the Highlanders have won three straight games in the series.

Marshall has won back-to-back games against Central Michigan and West Virginia entering Friday's contest. The Thundering Herd is 9-10 overall and have yet to begin play in Conference-USA.

Radford will be trying to snap a two-game losing streak after a midweek 5-4 loss at George Mason. The Highlanders have won four of their last six games and are 10-9 on the season and 2-1 in Big South Conference action.
