HIGHLANDERS LOOK TO STAY HOT AT ETSU

LISTEN LIVE  |  LIVE STATS

RADFORD, Va. - Coming off a doubleheader sweep and Big South Conference series victory at nationally-ranked Campbell, the Radford baseball team returns to action on the road Monday at East Tennessee State. First pitch between the Highlanders and the Buccaneers is set for 6:30 p.m. in Johnson City, Tenn.

Monday's game is a rescheduled contest from last week that was washed out due to weather. ETSU leads the all-time series 21-14, including an 8-4 win in Radford last May. The Highlanders and Bucs split a doubleheader in 2012, which was the last time RU paid a visit to Johnson City. The series began in 1987.

Radford (14-11, 4-2) is riding a two-game winning streak and has won four of its last six games. In Saturday's doubleheader vs. Campbell, the Highlanders held one of the nation's top offensive teams to just four runs and nearly 100 points below their season batting average.

ETSU (14-10, 4-5) has dropped five of its last seven games, but the Bucs are 10-5 at home this season.
