SOFTBALL SPOTLIGHT: JESSICA AGEE

SOFTBALL SPOTLIGHT: JESSICA AGEE

Agee action
With the regular season winding down and Softball's final home game on May 5 approaching, we've saved the best for last. The final installments of the 2013 Softball Spotlight will feature our class of 2013.

Leading off is second baseman Jessica Agee, who hails from Louisa, Va. and has worn No. 13 during her four-year collegiate career with the Highlanders.

Agee is enjoying her most efficient season as a Highlander, owning career bests in almost every category in 2013. Plugged into the starting lineup, Agee has been an every day starter at second base since March, making a few starts as the designated player at the beginning of the season.

Agee clubbed the first of her five collegiate home runs on March 20 at home against Liberty, which catapulted a career-best six-game hitting streak. During that stretch, she batted .579 (11-19, 8 RBI) with four-multi hit contests and capped off the streak with career-best 3-for-4 effort, including a home run and two RBI.

Radford closes out non-conference play tomorrow at Appalachian State.
