LYNCHBURG, Va. - Fresh off a three-game series at Liberty to end the regular season, No. 4 seed Radford and No. 5 seed Liberty will meet again Tuesday night in the opening round of the 2013 Big South Baseball Tournament. First pitch is tentatively set for 7:00 p.m. or 45 minutes following the prior game of the session.

Liberty (29-26, 13-11) took the series over the weekend winning the final two games, 3-1 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday. The Highlanders won the opener on Thursday night, 6-3.

Radford (29-24, 14-10) is 12-30 all-time in Big South Tournament games. The Highlanders are two wins from tying the school record for wins in a season (31 in 2011) and can eclipse that record with a deep run in this week's tournament.
