Fresh off a 4-2 home-opening win over Appalachian State, the Radford men's soccer team plays host Saturday night to one of the hottest teams in the country, UMBC. The Retrievers are 4-0 on the season and hold a 13-game unbeaten streak (10-0-3), dating back to the 2012 season. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. at Cupp Stadium.

Joe Mayer scored three goals and dished out an assist in the Highlanders' 4-2 win over Appalachian State. Chel Ho Park Kim also tallied his first goal of the season in the victory. Radford is unbeaten in its last two games, which includes a 2-2 tie at West Virginia.

RU and UMBC opened the season in 2012 in Maryland with a 0-0 double overtime draw. Saturday's meeting will be the 11th all-time between the two schools. The Highlanders own a 5-4-1 advantage in the series and are 3-2 all-time in games played in Radford.

The Retrievers own victories this season over St. Francis (N.Y.), Seattle, UNLV, and Central Connecticut State.

The game will be carried live on the Big South Network free of charge.
