HIGHLANDERS HEAD TO WILLIAM & MARY ON TUESDAY FOR FINAL NON-CONFERENCE MATCH

Radford women's soccer closes out its non-conference schedule tomorrow, Sept. 17, at William & Mary. The first schedule meeting between the schools in 18 years will kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT: Behind five different goals scorers, Radford sailed to a 6-0 victory over Southern Virginia at home on Sept. 13... Five different Highlanders scored, with two of the goals from sophomore Jasmine Sampson…Britney Kendall, a freshman closed out the trifecta in the 72nd minute of the game with second is as many games… the remaining three goals were registered by seniors Julie Ruh'e and Sydney Golden, and from sophomore Micaela Filsoof, the first of her collegiate career.
 
A LOOK AT YOUR HIGHLANDERS: Radford has won four straight games and are undefeated after five contests… It is the best undefeated start since 10-0 in 1993… The win also extended the Highlanders' undefeated regular season and home streaks to 19 and 13 games, respectively... They are the only remaining undefeated team in the Big South… Following three straight shutouts, RU is currently on a streak of allowing two or few goals in a game over the last 24 matches and 38 of the last 40… RU has allowed one goal at home over the 826:57 and just four since the start of last season (1220:24)… Kendall, Golden, Rachel Conway, Sahar Aflaki and Sampson each had a team-best two goals… Che' Brown owns a 0.53 GAA with one shutout.
 
THE TRIBE: William and Mary only match last week against George Washington was postponed due to lightening… The last time the Tribe took the field was in the Virginia Soccer Nike Classic, where they went 1-0-1…. W&M blanked Seton Hall 1-0 on Sept. 6, before earning a draw, 1-1, against Rutgers on Sept. 8… Emory Camper leads the Green and Gold with nine points on four goals and an assist… Keeper Caroline Casey owns a 0.73 goals against average and has made 19 saves with two shutouts on the year.

THE SERIES: Radford is 4-6-1 against William & Mary… The teams last met on September 2, 1995, a season-opening defeat for the Highlanders...  RU last defeated William & Mary in 1983 by the score of 2-1
