MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -
After a tough loss in the season-opener at Penn State, the Radford men's soccer team completes its road trip Monday with a Labor Day matinee at West Virginia. First kick is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. from Dick Dlesk Stadium in Morgantown.

The Highlanders are looking for their first win of the season after a 1-0 loss Friday to Penn State.

Radford goalkeeper Dane Wilson and the defense kept Penn State scoreless for 69 minutes, but the Nittany Lions were able to notch the only score. The Highlanders out-shot the hosts 5-3 in attempts that arrived on frame, but PSU keeper Andrew Wolverton turned away all five shots on goal and eight shots in all to record the shutout.

West Virginia (1-0) won its season-opener, a 3-0 home victory over Central Connecticut State. Andy Bevin led the Mountaineers with a goal and an assist.

WVU leads the all-time series with the Highlanders, 4-1-1. This is the first meeting between the two schools since the 2001 season.
