SENIOR NIGHT FOR SEVEN HIGHLANDERS SATURDAY AT CUPP STADIUM

The Radford women's soccer team returns home Saturday night for Senior Night and a pivotal match against High Point. The Highlanders will celebrate the careers of seven members of the team and try to snap a three-game skid against a Panthers team tied for points in the Big South standings with RU at 10. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at Cupp Stadium.

SENIOR NIGHT
The careers of Caitlin Kick, Melissa Vogel, Stephanie Herb, Annabel Bergin, Jasmine Sampson, Caitlin Annear, and Kara Wade will be celebrated prior to the start of the game. Members of this senior class have been a part of regular season Big South championships in 2011 and 2013, plus back-to-back Big South Tournament title and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2011 and 2012.

LAST TIME OUT
Radford ended its three-game road swing with a 2-0 loss at Gardner-Webb on Wednesday night. Radford outshot the Runnin' Bulldogs 13-12 on the night, but could not find the back of the net. Katie McCormick made seven saves in net for the defense.

RADFORD ROUNDUP
RU (6-7-2, 3-3-1) finds itself tied with High Point (6-4-3, 3-2-1) in points (10) for fourth place in the Big South standings. With just three games remaining in the regular season, the Highlanders are fighting to stay among the top four seeds heading into the Big South Tournament. The top four seeds play host to quarterfinal games in the opening round of the tournament in two weeks. The Highlander offense has produced more corner kick opportunities than any other Big South squad (91). RU ranks tied for fourth in goals (25) and fourth in goals allowed (20).

Head coach Ben Sohrabi is four wins from his 200th at Radford... Wade has tallied seven goals, four game-winners and 16 points. She leads the conference in game-winning goals... Jordan Lundin is tied for second in the league with seven assists on the season.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
High Point has not played away from home in two weeks as Saturday's game with end a three-game home stand for HPU... The Panthers are coming off a 2-1 victory over UNC Asheville in their last outing... HPU is 2-3-1 in road games this season... HPU has three players tied for the lead in goals with three on the season, Jacky Kessler, Jenny Marshall, and Becca Rolfe... High Point has scored just 18 goals on the season, but given up only 13.

THE SERIES
Radford leads the overall series, 12-8-3 and is 6-2-3 at Cupp Stadium vs. High Point. RU defeated HPU 2-1 last season in overtime on the road. The two teams tied 2-2 in 2012 in the last meeting at Cupp.
