RESULTS

AKRON, Ohio

Entering the day, the program record for this event was 17:40.07, which was established by Lori Crotts at this meet four years ago. By day's end, Williamson knocked nearly 14 seconds off that pace by running a 17:26.10 to finish first. MEN'S 5,000-METER RUN
Running the fastest time for this event by a Highlander this season, Ryan Farnan finished fourth by stopping the watch at 15:17.73. It was the fifth-fastest pace by a Big South runner in the event this season and the eight-fastest time in program history.

WOMEN'S PENTATHLON
Amber Church (8.97) and Jessica Shelton (9.17) recorded a pair of top-10s in the 60-meter hurdles of the women's pentathlon. They finished 13th and 15th, respectively, in the points race.

With his personal-best 21-11.50 leap in the long jump, Phillip Hovatter earned 741 points toward the heptathlon race. He also collected 759 points in the 60-meter dash for his eighth-place showing.

WOMEN'S LONG JUMP
Kaleice Green (17-06.00) and Kiki Crews (17-00.75) finished seventh and ninth, respectively. In addition to Crews, Jamiecka Baker also established a PR with her 16-05.75 landing.

MEN'S MIXED DISCUS
Tyler Lamott hurled a 145-05.00 mark to place second, while Garrett Knudson manufactured a 117-10.00 throw.
