REEVES ANNOUNCES SPRING SCRIMMAGE SCHEDULE AND 2014 TEAM CAPTAINS

Radford head men's soccer coach Marc Reeves announced that Chel Ho Park Kim, Stephen Hudgens, and Dario Redondo will serve as team captains for the upcoming 2014 campaign. The Highlanders will also play six scrimmage dates in the spring with four of those play at home in Cupp Stadium.

"We are excited for our Spring games to get going as they always provide great opportunity for players to show they can step up and fill the roles of our graduating seniors. We play some good teams that will make for competitive games but our focus will be on improvement as a team and assessing execution of roles as individual players," Reeves said.

Reeves said he expects a lot of leadership from the team's choices for 2014 captains.

"We expect all our seniors to play a major role in the leadership of our team, these three student-athletes were voted by their teammates to be captains. Chel, Stephen & Dario are all have very different personalities but certainly lead by example both on and off the field on a daily basis. We will look to them and the other two seniors to continue to set high standards and find ways to motivate and unite our group, during our spring fixtures and beyond."
