RADFORD, Va. – With one week before conference, members of the Radford men's golf team will be looking to fine-tune their golf games at the Coca-Cola Invitational hosted by Wofford Monday and Tuesday at The Country Club of Spartanburg (par 72, 6,648 yards) in Spartanburg, S.C.

RADFORD LINEUP
The Highlanders will go with their same lineup of Callum Tarren, Conner Hayden, Tanner Carbaugh, Ryan Rettberg and Nick Brediger. RU has not finished outside the Top 8 of the team standings through its nine tournaments this season. In addition, the Highlanders have a 292.3 scoring average with this starting five.
Radford has four of its golfers in the Top 20 of the Big South scoring average rankings: Carbaugh (11th / 73.67), Tarren (12th / 73.75), Hayden and Rettberg (T13th / 73.96). Conner Lewis is set to play as an individual.
THE FIELD
Three Top-100 golf programs will be in the 15-team field this week, including the Highlanders who check in at No. 93. TCU, listed No. 50, is the top-ranked team set to tee it up in Spartanburg. No. 82 USC Upstate is the other ranked team scheduled to compete.
Five Big South teams are entered for the event. In addition to Radford, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Longwood and Presbyterian College will be vying for the tournament title.
UP NEXT
Radford returns to the Palmetto State next weekend for the 2014 Big South Men's Golf Championship, which will be contested Monday-Wednesday in Ninety Six, S.C. Once again, The Patriot Golf Club will serve as the host site.
