WEDNESDAY'S ETSU BASEBALL GAME MOVED TO JOHNSON CITY

With expected severe weather in the Radford area on Wednesday night, the baseball game between Radford and East Tennessee State has been moved to Johnson City, Tenn. and will be a home game for the Buccaneers starting at 6:00 p.m.

The two teams played a week ago at Thomas Stadium with the Highlanders scoring a 7-6 victory, and the Bucs were set to make the return trip to Radford before Mother Nature caused a change in plans. Radford's home game Tuesday against Virginia Tech was washed out and will most likely not be rescheduled.

ETSU (20-22) has dropped four straight games, a streak started by the Highlanders last Wednesday after the Buccaneers had defeated Tennessee a night before. ETSU dropped a three-game conference series at Kennesaw State over the weekend.

Radford (25-17) has won a season-high six consecutive games after sweeping Quinnipiac in non-conference play over the weekend. The Highlanders are eight games above .500 for the first time this season.
